Tighten Saggy Skin with FaceTite

Aging is a beautiful, natural part of life that comes with experience, wisdom, and unfortunately, wrinkles. This is because as we age, our body slows down the production of two proteins that have a vital role in keeping our skin smooth, plump, and hydrated: collagen and elastin.

Collagen, the primary building block for dermal tissue, helps your skin stay plump, toned, and strong. Elastin gives your skin elasticity without compromising its tautness.

While aging is certainly not something to be ashamed of, it’s completely understandable to want to hold on to your youthful appearance for as long as you can.

Dr. Schwarcz has offices in Manhattan and Scarsdale, New York to better accommodate our patients.  Our team appreciates the importance of having gorgeous, healthy, young-looking skin, and we are excited to offer FaceTite and AccuTite to achieve those goals and leave you with a natural-looking result.

How FaceTite works

Dr. Schwarcz has chosen FaceTite because it’s a revolutionary skin tightening and facial contouring method. This treatment uses radiofrequency energy to sculpt, smooth, and tighten saggy skin on your face and neck, reducing the appearance of jowls and a double chin.

Dr. Schwarcz creates tiny incisions in your skin and inserts the FaceTite probe to deliver controlled, uniform heat to the deepest layers. This generates a deep thermal reaction that boosts the production of collagen and elastin, all while reducing discomfort and recovery time.

And unlike other nonsurgical skin tightening options, FaceTite is so effective that you only need one treatment. In just one visit you can rejuvenate your skin and get back the youthful facial profile you desire.

What you can expect from FaceTite

FaceTite is an in-office, outpatient procedure. Dr. Schwarcz administers local anesthesia or light sedation before beginning your beautiful transformation to make sure you’re comfortable.

This procedure requires only three tiny incisions:

The incisions are so small that they don’t even require stitches. Instead, Dr. Schwarcz closes them with surgical glue. The best part? You walk away without any visible scars.

The FaceTite device looks much like a narrow, V-shaped probe. The thinner side of the probe, called a cannula, is inserted into the aforementioned incisions, while the wider side of the probe, called an electrode, sits on the surface of your skin.  Once the device is activated, radiofrequency energy flows between the internal cannula and the external electrode. This process creates skin rejuvenation in a couple of ways.

First, the cannula generates internal energy, which liquifies fat cells and triggers deep collagen and elastin remodeling. Simultaneously, the electrode generates external energy, which stimulates elastin contraction and the renewal of surface collagen.

While all of this is happening, Dr. Schwarcz closely monitors the energy exchange using advanced computer software that takes real-time measurements during your treatment. This state-of-the-art technology makes FaceTite both safe and effective.

For delicate, harder to reach areas, Dr. Schwarcz uses AccuTite. Operating with the same technology as FaceTite, just on a smaller scale, AccuTite is perfect for treating eyelids, nasolabial folds, and marionette lines.

Recovery and results

In most cases, recovering from FaceTite takes only a few days. There’s no need to worry about taking time off from work or missing out on activities with friends and family.

In fact, the FaceTite treatment itself speeds up your recovery. The heat that the tip of the internal cannula generates coagulates nearby blood vessels, which minimizes your discomfort post-treatment.

Your results improve as the collagen renewal and elastin remodeling continue to unfold.  In the days, weeks, and months after your treatment, you begin to notice that your skin looks smoother, tighter, and more radiant.  Facetite continues regenerating collagen and elastin for up to a year.

Most patients see impressive results within the first six months after treatment.

More and more people are choosing the nonsurgical route for skin rejuvenation. With little to no downtime, continuously improving results, and minimal invasiveness, what’s not to love?
