WHAT HAPPENS DURING A FAT TRANSFER PROCEDURE
When you arrive at Dr. Schwarcz’s office for a fat transfer procedure, you receive anesthesia to avoid any discomfort. Don’t eat or drink anything the morning of surgery if he asks you to. Dr. Schwarcz uses liposuction to remove excess fat from your abdomen, thighs, or other areas of your body.

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT DURING RECOVERY
After fat transfer, expect some tenderness, swelling, and bruising at the site of fat harvesting. You may experience swelling near the injection site for about a week, though no scars are visible.
