Rewind the Hands of Time With a Brow Lift Procedure
A brow lift, otherwise known as a forehead lift, can reverse the effects of time, aging and gravity. The lift offers a solution by tightening up soft tissues surrounding the forehead and restoring a contour to the patient’s forehead, eyelids and brows. A brow lift does exactly that, it lifts the brows erasing years of aging and fine lines on your forehead and replacing it with tighter, fresher, and healthier looking skin.
Cosmetic brow lift procedure:
There are two brow-lift techniques that a plastic surgeon will use to lift your eyebrow and forehead areas:
The Classic lift and the Endoscopic lift.
Classic Lift: This lift is performed when the surgeon uses one continuous incision, beginning level with your ear, the surgeon will continue to cut– going up and around your natural hairline. Dependent upon the location of your hairline, the surgeon works to ensure there are no visible scars.
Endoscopic Lift: With the endoscopic brow lift, the surgeon will make fewer incisions into your scalp. They will then insert a camera scope into an incision to guide them while they make other necessary cuts and adjustments.
Using small anchors, the surgeon secures the tissue. Because of smaller incisions, the endoscopic brow lift is not as invasive in comparison to the classic brow lift–minimal scarring and much quicker recovery time.
A brow lift can treat the following characteristics:
Sagging eyebrow positioning that causes a tired, grumpy or sad appearance.
Deep creases stretching horizontally across the forehead
Frown lines – furrows — across the top of the nose or at the eyebrows
Fatty tissue and/or excess skin hanging over the eyes
